Copeland had so much fun at the party that I wanted to do an entire post of pictures of his face radiating pure joy. About 25min into the party, the Gymboree helper started the organized activities with all the kids the kids that felt like participating. Most of the kids sat in a circle and sang Happy Birthday to Coe while he stood in the middle. It was at that moment that he realized this part was all for him. He had a look of shock that quickly switched to exuberation. That look didn’t leave his face until I told him the party was over.
The moment Coe realized this was HIS party!
No Mommy I won’t take a break from playing to say goodbye to Gigi and take a picture!
What do you mean the party is over?!?!?!
Despite the sad face when we got in the car to go home, I’m pretty sure this was Copeland’s BEST. DAY. EVER.
