As soon as school ended, we jumped right into baseball Allstars. Mac was chosen for the 7U (age as of 4/1) team and got to play pitcher. Since 7U is still coach pitch, Mac stoods on the pitcher’s mound, but behind and to the side of the pitching coach. He got quite a few balls hit to him and even more thrown to him as the play is dead when the ball returns to the pitcher. Mac’s team won 1st in one tournament and 2nd in the other. I’m so grateful Mac got the experience to play with all these boys, but mommy and daddy were both happy when the season ended and we could quit going to the baseball field every night and all weekend!
