Camp Winnataska

We left the lake and headed to Camp Winnitaska to leave Mac {and best buddy Jack} for their intro to camp session.  It was only 3 days, but the boys were very excited and never looked back as we drove away!  Coe stayed with G and Deeda while Mac was at camp and I went to Nana and Granddaddy’s for some peace and quiet.  We were able to log on to the camp website daily and see pictures from the day before.  I quickly noticed that despite Mac being there for 3 days and 3 nights he often had on the same clothes.  When I picked he and Jack up, they informed me that they had not showered the whole time they were there b/c they swam in the lake and the pool and that was sufficient…eek…boys!  Other than his toothbrush and toothpaste, Mac’s toiletry bag came home exactly as I sent it.  Every bottle still had the seal in tact!   

Lake Time

It was another GREAT trip to Weiss Lake with the whole Gilmer clan!  Uncle Shaw and Aunt Heather have enough toys and fun activities to keep the boys entertained for weeks.  We only got to stay 3 days this year, but next year I may drop the boys off and come back a few weeks later to pick them up :)
