Christmas Eve

When Christmas Eve arrived Coe could hardly contain his excitement.  He watched the Santa tracker on my phone nonstop as he anxiously awaited bedtime!  Before he could go back to bed for the night though we had a few things to do!  We went to Christmas Eve church at our own church which is always specia,l and then we headed to Yaya and Costie’s for dinner with the family.  The kids got to open all their presents from Yaya and Costie and Nana and Granddaddy that night which made waiting for Santa the next morning a little easier!

Aunt Forrest, Uncle Ed, Gray {and most importantly} Finley came to spend the night at our house on Christmas Eve.  Other than Gray the kids were beyond excited to spend the night together and went to bed fairly easily knowing what awaited them the next morning.  As they quietly slept, Santa and his reindeer covered the downstairs with more toys than I have ever seen for 4 little boys and girls.

I odn’t have a picture of Fin and Gray’s stuff but there was a lot of orange in Fin’s corner!  I’ve never known a child to love orange quite the way she does.  I’m seeing the Gator Chomp in her future.  At least we hope it’s the Gator Chomp over Rocky Top!
