Coe woke up the morning after Daxton’s party burning up with a fever. To this day I still don’t know what was wrong with him but suspect he had a random fever virus. He slept a lot that day but his fever didn’t return until early evening that same day. I was supposed to work the following day, but ended up staying home to make sure Coe was ok. He wanted NO ONE but me the whole day he was sick, and I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving him the next day if he still felt bad.
Of course he woke up the next morning perfectly fine so after doing a few work t/c from the house, we headed out for a picnic and some time at the downtown splash area. It is a small splash pad, but the boys loved it. There was also a large grassy area where we all played football. Mac had to give me quite a few lessons on how to properly throw a ball :) Coe’s fever came back again that night but not as high. After a dose of Motrin though it never resurfaced and we enjoyed the rest of our Spring Break fever free.
