{Never finished this post last week when we returned from vacation, so here it is now. will get 4th of July done as soon as I find 5min to spare}
There was no easing into the lake activities this year. The boys were ready to hit tubing full speed ahead, and Uncle Shaw had no problem fulfilling their requests. Despite flying out of the tubes a few times unexpectedly, the boys constantly popped back up begging to go again. Mac’s repeated phrase every time his turn ended, “that was AWESOME!”
We are blessed to have family who has a lake house where we can go and do all these fun activities. We don’t get to spend as much time together due to everyone’s busy schedules, but we sure do make the most of it when we are together. I was reminded again how happy I am to “be a Gilmer”. I sure married into a fun family, and with the help of Albi we have added two really entertaining Gilmer boys to the group!
