Field Day

I’m going back through the pictures I took in May and saved for blog posts that were never written.  Here is one of several that I am playing catch up on…FIELD DAY!

The location and perks of field day at EDS wasn’t quite like the field days I remember from my elementary school days but the games were all too familiar!  The school gathers on the huge lawn next to the Wahoos stadium and over looking the water to play duck, duck goose, tug-of-war, dance to fun songs, and of course play with the parachute.  They got a snack from the frozen yogurt shop in the stadium and each got to pick up to 3 toppings.  Mac was thrilled as he announced to the teachers in charge of that station “My mom never lets me have more than 2 toppings.  This is great!”  He quickly remembered I was with his class for field day and turned around to ask if he could really have 3 toppings.  Its the little things in life!

The next day was the last day of school and overnight my Kindergartener turned into a snaggle tooth 1st grader.
