I took a class in January to learn how to better use my speed light aka flash. Its still a work in progress, and I mess up way more flash photos than I get right, but at least I can finally take some pictures of the kids indoors without either the super grainy exposure due to a high ISO or the harsh shadows that occur when using the built in flash and/or improper settings! In all the pictures below I used my flash and attempted to minimize if not eliminate the shadows. Practice, practice, practice!
