Roll Tide

Too bad I didn’t get this post completed before the Tide lost to Texas A&M this weekend.  Oh well, Alabama still had a great win against LSU last weekend, and we had fun watching the game with the Woodwards. Will Woodward has asked Santa for a little brother for the past two years, and used Mac and Copeland as practice.  I wonder if he changed his Christmas wish list after a night with the Gilmer boys.  The kids really played great together despite their varying ages which allowed Tiffany and I a chance to catch up and Albi and Doug to coach the game from the couch!  The next day the Grissett boys had their birthday party at the Wahoos stadium.  We got to go in the locker rooms, take batting practice in the batting cages and even see Kazoo.  Mac did a great job hitting the ball off the tee.  Maybe he inherited a few of Deeda’s baseball skills : )  Copeland wiggled, squirmed and protested loudly until he finally got a quick turn with the bat.  He didn’t do too bad for an 18mo old, but I’m not sure we can say if he has any baseball skills just yet!
