The stockings were hung by the chimney with care…for weeks! Everyone was finally well and ready to celebrate Christmas. Thanks to Yaya all three grandchildren now have Pottery Barn chairs. We tried to get all of them to sit in their chairs for a picture, but that proved impossible.
After playing in their chairs for a few minutes it was time to open presents. Mac got real yard tools and a wheelbarrow. He is going to help daddy with the yard work this spring! Coe got a little upset when we took the metal yard tools away, but he quickly got over it. Biggest difference between Mac and Coe – Coe gets over things. The red headed temper generally keeps Mac upset a little longer! Coe got his own tool bench from Yaya and Coste, and both boys got some new tools for their tool bags.
Finley really liked playing with the chainsaw while Mac measured Coste.
After opening presents, the boys put on their new Christmas pajamas, and Yaya started their new movie – Santa Paws 2. Although the original plan was to do all of this the weekend before Christmas, the boys didn’t seem to mind that it was several days after Christmas and neither did we!
Two tool benches for two hard working boys.
One of Yaya’s dearest friends sent Mac and Coe jackets for their dogs. The boys were so excited, and I’m pretty sure Duke and Junior are enjoying their cozy winter coats!
