This year we added a new event to our already busy Decembmer calendar – the Yacht Club’s lunch with Santa. My stepbrother Fred and his daughter Ginger couldn’t make it to PCC Brunch with Santa the weekend before, so Charles wanted us to all go the PYC lunch the following Sunday. PYC had craft tables set up for the kids, so as soon as they finished eating off the kids buffet they started making Christmas cards, decorating ice cream snowmen and picking out stickers. Next Santa showed up via boat and then passed out a present to all the kids. It was great fun and the boys loved playing with Ginger again.
We left PYC, went home for a quick change of clothes – Coe was filthy :) and headed to Betsy’s annual Santa party. I look forward to this party every year. Santa and Mrs. Claus are ready to hear each child’s wish list and smile for the perfect photo taken by Richie. Unfortunately this year Finley woke up with a fever and had to miss the party, but Yaya, the boys and I enjoyed seeing our friends and continuing the Christmas tradition!
