The fun continued Sunday afternoon and evening and throughout Monday until it was finally time for the younger Gilmer group to head home. Before we left, the boys got in some more tube time, a little fishing, some marshmallow roasting, and lots of flipping off the diving board! Coe asked for 2 days if he could do a flip off the diving board. We consistently said no. He has never {intentionally} flipped off anything, but he recently taught himself how to do a flip underwater in the pool. Finally on the last afternoon Albi said he could try but not to cry if it didn’t go as planned. I grabbed my camera and sure enough Coe flipped off the diving board! He popped up all smiles and proceeded to do his new trick 100 more times. Although not quite as successful, big brother managed to do several half flips off the diving board. No way was he going to let his little brother out do him.
Bye Bye Weiss lake. Until next year…
