Last Sunday Albi and I went to the Farm to Fairways event at PCC with a bunch of our friends. It was WONDERFUL! They prepared a 5 course meal with food from the local farmer’s market and had a wine pairing for each course. The food and wine were delicious, but it was all the little details that made the night one to remember. The evening started with a specialty cocktail served in mason jars and gave everyone an opportunity to mingle before we sat down for dinner. The long curved tables were set on the 18th fairway with the bay as the backdrop and fresh flowers and veggies as the centerpieces. The slight breeze kept everyone comfortable while a duet played music to set the mood.
The kids had their own farms to fairway event upstairs in the club house. Mac got to play with his friends, plant a bean, do an art project, and eat dinner and watch a movie with all his friends. He had a blast, and so did we! I think PCC may finally be on the right track with their event planning thanks to a lot of input and hard work from many many people. This was by far the best event we have ever attended at the club, and I’m looking forward to many more in the future.
