Aunt Deb was in Tuscaloosa last week visiting Nana and Granddaddy, so they all made a trip to Pensacola for a long weekend. First everyone cooed over precious baby Finley. Nana could get Finley talking non-stop. I hadn’t heard her “talk” at all until Nana got a hold of her! Friday night everyone came to our house for chili and of course Mac had to show off his Halloween costume(s) – 3 headed dragon, AL football player and Batman. Nana and Copeland had to do a little shopping at the Marketplace as well.
Coe loves Uncle Ed and ran to give him a big hug when he arrived. Daddy is noticeably absent from the weekend pictures because he went to Birmingham/Tuscaloosa for the AL game – Roll Tide! On Saturday we headed to Yaya and Coste’s because Uncle Steve and Aunt Cheryl were flying into town. The weather was perfect and the boys enjoyed playing frisbee. despite the fact that neither of them have any aim! Coe was tired from being up late the night before and wanted to spend a lot of time snuggling. For the first time that I can remember, he reached out for someone else while in my arms! He was obsessed with Aunt Cheryl and wanted her to hold him all night. I hate that I didn’t get a picture of that! We left in time for the boys to be tucked in bed by the 7:30 kickoff for the Alabama game.
We headed to church the next morning while celebrating an Alabama win (and mourning a UF loss). Daddy came home later that afternoon ,and now we await the arrival of G and Deeda who are coming to visit for Halloween!
