Last Saturday we took the boys to their first AL football game. Copeland didn’t actually go to the game, but he walked strolled the hall of fame, jumped his way around the quad and posed for plenty of pictures. Mac did the same, but also got to attend his first AL football game. Although the day started very early due to the 11:20 kickoff, the little boys didn’t seem to mind and were full of energy. The day was fun, hot, exciting and overall a great family day. The boys constantly sang their new favorite song and although their words weren’t exactly as written below, they were close enough!
Yea, Alabama! Drown 'em Tide!
Every 'Bama man's behind you,
Hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken,
That's a shame!
For Bama's pluck and grit have
Writ her name in Crimson flame.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men!
Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then.
Go, roll to victory,
Hit your stride,
You're Dixie's football pride,
Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, Roll Tide!!
Big Thanks to Richie and Betsy Daniels for the tickets - 10 rows up on the 20 yd line can’t be beat! I’m sure this was not the last AL game Mac will attend, and next time little brother will have to come too!
