Sunday at the beach was another glorious day that began with some water balloon fights and ended with a night out for the adults! Thank goodness for Miss Mallory who showed up on Sunday morning to help with the kiddos.

Beach Trip 2014 {Part 2}
The first night we travel anywhere is generally a rough night for Coe and the first morning of any trip is always an early morning for Mac. Beach Trip 2014 didn’t break the streak, so I slept a little {queen size bed with Coe and Albi (me in the middle) doesn’t make for great sleep} and got up early. I don't mind too much. The mornings are generally a good time to edit photos from the day before and enjoy a little quiet before the rest of the house wakes up.
The water was extremely calm and the sand bar very close, so the ocean turned into a shallow swimming pool for everyone to enjoy. Another favorite beach activity this year was digging a large hole to make our own mini pool. The kids spent hours digging in, jumping over and filling up their “pool”!
